It was an accident why there are Escobanas in mauban. Actualy, the story goes like this.
They said our forefather is the cashier of the Guerilla Army that battled Japanese in southern Tagalog region particularly Alabat, Mauban, Polilio, Tayabas, Sampaloc, Gumaca, Lopez and Pagbilao.
They said my forefather was charged of taking the money of the organization and hid somewhere in the province. The family or relatives to avoid harassment and embarrassment too transfer to another places. That the reason why the clan is now separated.
