Driver run a dog and sue the owner

An American driver hit a dog in a high way. He express his sentiment on the dead dog body. He said he loves dog but the owner must take responsibility of the damage portion of his car.

So what he did now is he sue the owner for the damage in his car.
Now Ely is suing the Munthes for about $1,100 for damage to his car, time he had to take off from his two jobs to get the car repaired, and court fees.

More likely the driver will win the case because this thing happen in US.
In Cebu, almost every week there are dead body of dogs in the south highway.
Vehicles do not stop anymore as it may cause another accident.
The highway is now become cemetery of dog.
